The manga series created in 1960 by Shigeru Mizuki, he known for its popularization of the japanese folklore creatures known as "Youkai", a class of spirit-monster to which all of the main characters belong!
The first animation serie started by "TOEI ANIMATION" in the 1968, 2nd serie in 1971, 3rd serie 1085, 4th serie 1996, 5th 2007 and the 6th serie in 2018!
It become a "traditional" serie that return every 10 years!
Also many series was inspired from it, like Inuyasha, Ushio & Tora, YuYu Hakusho, Shaman King, GANTZ O, Youkai Watch, Nurarihyon no Mago, etc...
The new sunday tag animation from 2018 is: "One Piece"& "GeGeGe no Kitarō" !
